“What is my plan?

What is God calling me to do?”

At times, I am unsure how the pieces of my life are falling into place. I ask myself these questions:

When will I step into a corporate job?
Where will I end up if the challenges in my country persist?
How do I chase my dreams? Will it be an adventure, or am I just being unrealistic?
Do I want to focus on becoming financially stable?

As I awake at night, God often opens my eyes to the beauty in life. It’s as if, through my doubts and fear, there’s an echo in my heart reminding me of a simple truth: God is the One who gives and takes, shaping our path in His perfect timing.

This realization came alive during my recent visit to Faith Village with Uncle Danny (Roland), where I experienced moments of clarity, purpose, and hope. It was a journey that showed me how my passions, skills, and faith could come together to serve others and glorify God.

From June 8 to June 15, Mr. Danny and I participated in various activities there. It was an incredible experience meeting Pastor David and witnessing how Trumpets of Christ International is transforming the lives of children and families through Jesus Christ.

As a web developer, I had the opportunity to discuss with Pastor David ways to improve the TOC website, which has not been updated in two years. Pastor David expressed a desire to update the site with fresh images, blog content, and other information, but he currently does not have access to the website. To resolve this, we reached out to the Bangkok-based web development agency that originally created the site. Pastor David and Mr. Danny raised concerns about the possibility of permanently losing access to the website. This prompted a discussion on how to ensure long-term control, and continuity for the website's management and how to keep the Ministry's stakeholders updated with newsletters and informative resources.

Contribution to Ministry

As a final-year Computer Science student, I see how I can contribute to the ministry at Faith Village by sharing my knowledge of technology. During my visit, I met Song, Cartoon, and Seng Nang, who are currently learning English and Microsoft Excel. I realized I could support the community by teaching them the basics of computer science and web development. In today’s digital age, understanding how computers, social networks, and the internet work is essential, especially as many high schools now include these subjects in their curriculum.

The Moment That Touched My Heart

While in Faith Village, I volunteered to help renovate the cafeteria’s kitchen area. I believe the cafeteria is more than just a physical space—it is a place where children find joy and hope. This reminded me of a visit I once made to a border region where I met Karen children affected by war. Tragically, many of them were orphans. Some had parents too impoverished to care for them, others had parents who were drug addicts, and many lost their families to war. Witnessing their struggles deeply moved me. These memories resurfaced as I saw the children at Faith Village. I am glad that Faith Village is a place that serves as a loving home for children.

I vividly remember praying to God, asking, "Please use me, Lord, with the gifts You have given me." Music has always been a significant part of my life. I feel alive and joyful when I sing. Though I cannot play the guitar very well, I have a passion for composing songs. Over the years, I have written eight songs on themes such as young love, hope, war, and resilience.

Last Sunday, at Victory Church in Faith Village, I had the opportunity to sing during the worship service. It had been a long time since I last performed on stage. In university, I was the leader of the music club and worked hard to gain confidence in performing before an audience. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I lost touch with this skill. Now, after five years, I believe God has reopened this door for me. This time, I am surrounded by supportive, God-serving people, and I have faith that God is guiding me toward fulfilling my passion for music and performance.

I love creating music. Although I have never attended a music school, had formal lessons, or learned music theory, melodies come to me little by little and eventually form complete songs. My goal is not fame or money. Instead, I aim to express the art within me, share it with others, and grow spiritually while helping others grow as well. Music is my way of glorifying God and connecting with people, and I am excited about the opportunity to serve through this ministry.

This journey of my life has been a reminder of God’s grace and His ability to use our unique gifts for His glory. My experiences at Faith Village, have shown me the beauty of serving others through the talents God has given me.

Music has always been a significant part of my life, and I believe it is a gift from God to not only express myself but to bring people closer to Him. Joining a worship team would allow me to continue this mission during this season of my life, using my voice and songs to inspire and uplift others in their spiritual journey.
